Located on the bluffs above the confluence of the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers; about 45 minutes from Minneapolis, MN and 25 minutes from St. Paul, MN.

From the south: On WI Hwy 35 driving north — Just before entering downtown Prescott, look for the Great River Road Visitor Center/Freedom Park sign; turn left onto Monroe Street.

From the north and west: From Prescott downtown where Hwy 10 intersects with WI Hwy 35 — drive 1 mile south on Hwy 35/Broad St./Jefferson St.; look for the Great River Road Visitor Center/Freedom Park signs. Turn right onto Monroe Street. The Center is located 1 block from Hwy 35.

Spring Center Hours

Feb. 1 – Memorial Day
Tuesday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon–5 p.m. Monday: Closed

Summer Center Hours
Memorial Day – Labor Day
Monday–Saturday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon–5 p.m.

Fall Center Hours
Labor Day – Nov. 30
Tuesday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon–5 p.m. Monday: Closed

Winter Center Hours
Dec. 1 – Jan. 31
Monday–Friday: Closed
Saturday: 11 a.m–4 p.m.
Sunday: Noon–4 p.m.
