Things to see and DO

Great River Road Visitor Center

Our center is a place to gather and learn about the history of this region and the ecosystems that thrive here. Stop in to browse our exhibits, purchase local gifts, and gather around the fireplace.

Stroll and Play

Walking paths curve along the bluff and throughout the park with incredible views of the river. Our playground is open everyday, rain, shine, or snow. The native pollinator gardens are a wonderful place to stroll and relax! If you’re an evening walker the amphitheater has the best seats in town for spectacular sunsets.

Art Inside and OUt

Be sure to stop and enjoy the many sculptures created by Mr. Dale Lewis of Hastings MN found throughout the park. Step inside the center to enjoy and appreciate the fine art in our River Room Gallery. This space supports and showcases our local artists!
